Frequently asked questions
Instructions for travelling abroad – important!
Before travelling abroad for an engagement, please read these instructions . This will help you avoid possible misunderstandings and problems. You will find further information about the online booking system in these instructions .
How to register
As a performer
How do I register as a performer? Follow these instructions (in Czech).
As a club
How do I register as a club? Follow these instructions (in Czech).
Agency services
Agency services for performers are governed by the terms of each engagement, published on the agency’s website. In most cases they are completely free of charge for performers.
Third-party services
Third-party services are those not provided directly by the agency (e.g. contractual or non-contractual carriers, bookkeeping, economic advice for self-employed performers, etc.). These services are charged according to the applicable price lists of the third parties concerned.
Where can I find the account number for payments to the agency?
The account number for payments to the agency (e.g. for tickets ordered through the agency) can be found on the Contact page under the tab Bank details. Choose the account according to the currency in which you want to send the payment. Before making any payment, contact the agency to clarify the identification details of the payment so that it can be easily traced.
What documents do I need to work as a dancer or hostess?
The basic documents that must be supplied to the agency in order to arrange an engagement include:
- ID card / Passport
- We need a copy of your ID card or passport to verify your identity. Without a copy, no work or engagement can be arranged. Presenting proof of identity is common practice both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Sometimes a current extract from the criminal records register (criminal record) is also required. In the Czech Republic it can be obtained online .
What is OSVČ?
OSVČ is the Czech abbreviation for a self-employed person (osoba samostatně výdělečně činná), that is, a person who carries out their activity on the basis of a trade licence (or another authorisation), in lay terms a ‘private entrepreneur’.
What documents do I need to work abroad?
As a general rule, citizens of third countries (outside the EU/EEA) need a passport to enter the EU/EEA and, where applicable, a visa. A work visa or work permit may be required to carry out an engagement (self-employed performers generally do not need a work permit***). Citizens of some EU/EEA countries may need a visa, a passport and a work permit to work outside the EU/EEA. You will find detailed information in the description of each offer.
Some countries allow visas or mandatory registration to be arranged electronically (online). These include, for example:
- the USA with ESTA
- Canada with eTA
- the United Kingdom (UK) with ETA (valid from 2 April 2025)
- Australia with eVisitor / ETA (Electronic Travel Authority)
- New Zealand with NZeTA
Each of these countries has its own procedure and conditions, so always check the current information on the official website of the relevant authority or embassy.
Why do I have to register?
You cannot apply for an engagement without registering! Performers’ personal data are not publicly available and are protected under the GDPR.
Registration gives you the opportunity to use the agency’s free services and to apply for engagements. You also get a user profile where you can manage and update your personal information, photographs and documents. In addition, you can set up ‘friends’ to share information about new or ongoing engagements (if both parties allow this option).
If you are also a self-employed performer, you get the free option of issuing invoices for your engagements and sending them directly to yourself, your accountant or the club. The history of invoices is stored for future use.
Without registration you can only browse the public section of the website with the offer of engagements, but you cannot apply for an engagement.
Keeping your details up to date is in your own interest. The agency is not liable for the consequences of outdated or false information. This may lead to the cancellation even of an already approved engagement.
The attached photographs are necessary for the performer to be approved by the organiser (the club) and will not be provided without the performer’s consent to any parties other than those who arrange the engagement (the club, a partner agency). The data entered are visible only to the system administrators. Users themselves define which data they share with other users. If anyone bothers you, you can remove them from your friends or block them completely.
The processing of personal data is governed by the personal data protection act as amended, related legal regulations and the legal order of the Czech Republic and the EU (GDPR).
You can apply for a new engagement or an extension online in our booking system after logging in, or by telephone. Unregistered performers cannot apply. An application from a user with incomplete or outdated details will not be processed until they have completed them. A registration with distorted or defective data may be cancelled.
Why do we require knowledge of foreign languages?
An engagement abroad usually requires knowledge of a foreign language at least at a basic communication level. This is not only about the work itself, but also about travelling and staying abroad. Performers mostly have to rely on their own language skills. We do not carry out language tests; we rely on a mature, sensible approach and a realistic assessment of your own abilities.
Performers are responsible for the accuracy of their personal data. If they provide false or incomplete information, the engagement may be cancelled without compensation. A contract containing incorrect data is legally invalid and gives rise to no right to a fee.
Why do we stress a pleasant and attractive appearance of performers?
Organisers often ask for recent photographs so that they have an idea of the performer’s looks. For example, it would be hard for anyone to want to hire unattractive dancers or hostesses.
Is previous experience necessary?
Previous experience is an advantage, but not always a necessity. It depends on the specific requirements of the club.
Terms of the engagement
The terms differ between individual clubs and positions. You will always find specific information with the offer concerned.
Glossary of common terms
Some English (or otherwise foreign-language) terms are commonly used in this field in various countries.
- Topless dancer
- The show ends with a ‘topless’ performance.
- Full-strip dancer
- The show ends with the dancer undressing completely.
- Go-go dancer
- A dancer who does not undress (dances clothed).
- Hostess / Companion
-
The job consists of communicating with customers, often combined with the consumption of alcoholic
drinks (according to the terms of the engagement). In the erotic sector the word ‘companion’ is sometimes
confused with a prostitute, but it must be stressed that
Prostitution is strictly prohibited for our performers and the agency does not offer such engagements.
Our agency arranges exclusively legal entertainment and artistic activity. Performers always decide for themselves the degree of personal contact with customers within the terms of the specific engagement and the applicable laws of the country concerned. - Private dance
- A private dance for a customer, usually paid separately.
- Lap dance
- Usually a private dance for a customer, paid separately. The performer and/or the terms of the engagement determine the permitted degree of touch. Compliance is monitored by security staff.
- Table dance
- Dancing on a table (see also Wikipedia ).
- Stage
- The stage.
- Pole dance
- Dancing on a pole.
- Private day
- A day without the usual fixed fee (the exact terms are given in the club’s profile), when the performer does not share a percentage of dances, tips and consumption, or the split is set more favourably than usual.
An engagement is not a holiday
Especially in summer, we often hear from applicants who want work by the sea with a high fee, a five-star hotel for free, bringing a boyfriend, family or dog, and for whom the work is practically an annoying detail. That is really not how it works. If you have such requirements, we recommend contacting a travel agency.
The organiser or intermediary may refuse an application for an engagement without giving a reason.
Interruption, cancellation or termination of an engagement outside the agreed period
For serious reasons an engagement can be interrupted, cancelled or ended early. The intermediary or the organiser may require the reason to be documented. If it is not documented, a contractual penalty may be imposed or the fee reduced (even for a subsequent engagement).
Cancelling or failing to take up an approved engagement because of carrying out another engagement is not an acceptable serious reason.
Applying for a (new) engagement
You can apply for an engagement online (on this website) or by contacting the agency by telephone, e-mail or via social networks (Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Signal, Telegram, Line, Facebook Messenger, etc.).
An application is binding from the moment it is submitted until it is dealt with (rejected or approved) and subsequently carried out. While it is being processed (which may take hours or days), it is not permitted to apply for another engagement for the same or an overlapping period, unless the application is rejected.
Contractual penalties and deposits
If the intermediary has reasonable suspicion that the performer might not comply with their obligations, it may require a refundable deposit. The amount is set individually.
In the event of a gross breach of contractual obligations, the organiser or intermediary may impose a contractual penalty. This does not affect the right to compensation for damage. This is an exceptional measure.
The contractual relationship
The contract is signed (where necessary) at the place of the engagement after the performer arrives, but the contractual relationship between the organiser and the performer is concluded by conduct (tacitly) at the moment the application is approved and entered in the agency’s booking system. A signature on the contract is then required only in some cases (according to the laws of the destination country).
The contract gives rise to rights and obligations of both the organiser and the performer towards the intermediary.
Conclusion of a contract by conduct means conclusion ‘tacitly’ – by the mere act of entering and approving the engagement.
The performer’s necessary cooperation in arranging the engagement
If a performer applies for an engagement, they must subsequently cooperate to a reasonable extent (confirming the date of travel, arranging the necessary documents, etc.). If cooperation is insufficient, the engagement may be cancelled.
Performers are obliged, on request, to present copies of documents to the intermediary, the organiser or the authorities. They must also, on request, state the exact number of days or hours worked during the engagement. During the engagement they must comply with local laws and the terms of the engagement.
